Chris has been married to his bride, Teresa, for over 45 years. They have two lovely children, Tiffany and Chris Jr., and a son-in-law, Kyle. They are also the proud grandparents of three adorable grandchildren named Kenzie, Carson, and Trenton.
Chris started preaching at the tender age of 12 and became a pastor when he was just 19 years old. Throughout his ministry, he has served on numerous elected and appointed boards in Arkansas and Illinois, including the Evangelism board, the Arkansas and Illinois State councils, and the role of Arkansas Evangelism Director. For the past 25 years, he has been working with the Ministerial Development Board, where he has made significant contributions to ministerial training.
Chris has an undergraduate degree in business management and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee. He has also completed all the educational requirements for his Doctor of Ministry in Church Leadership at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Chris and Teresa have pastored in several states, including Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois. Since 2002, they have been privileged to pastor Curtis Road Church of God in Champaign, Illinois. They are both friendly and approachable, and they have a passion for helping people. They have made many friends over the years, and they always welcome new faces with open arms.
